GENERAL INFORMATION:
REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS TUESDAY OCT. 13TH 5:00PM
Time of meet:
Course Inspection 3:00 pm

Women’s Race 5K 4:30 pm

Men’s Race 8K 5:15 pm

Presentation of Awards 6:15 pm

Nature of Course: The course is relatively flat as it winds through the campus, through creeks, the arboretum, pastures, and a farm and through the woods. Course maps will be included in your packets on race day, and are also available on the web at www2.wilmington.edu on our cross country homepage.

Course Records:
Men: 2008 David Mutuse, Lindsey Wilson 24:46.66
Women: 2001 Erin Nehus, Cedarville 18:16.5

Awards: Screened beach towels to the top 25 finishers in each race, Plaques to the first two teams in each race. Awards will be presented near the finish line at 6:15 pm or as soon as we have results. Results will be available to coaches before you leave. Results will also be posted at www.finishtiming.com and www2.wilmington.edu

Entry Fee & Entries: Entry Fee is $75 per team, $150 for a men’s and women’s team. Make sure checks are payable to Wilmington College Athletics. You may send the entry fee ahead of time or bring payment with you to the meet. All entries will be done at www.finishtiming.com. When you access that page go to on-line cross country entries to enter your team and look for the Wilmington College Fall Classic listed in the events. Please give yourself plenty of time to familiarize yourself with the entry process-it is different than previous years. If you have questions please direct them to Mike Chatfield at mike@finishtiming.com All entries should be completed by Tuesday, October 13th by 5:00 pm (This is probably different than Mike’s website, but will help my SID in putting together a program for the meet).

St. Joe, Kentucky Christian, Hanover, Bluffton, Muskingum, Wittenberg, Lindsey Wilson, Capital, Mount Vernon Nazarene, Thomas More, Union(KY), Ohio Dominican, Rose-Hulman, Wheeling Jesuit, Berea, Centre, Univ. of the Cumberlands, Spalding, John Carroll, Urbana, IU East, Cincinnati Christian, Rio Grande, Wilberforce, Central State, NKU(B), Bethany(W.VA), Franklin, Asbury, Otterbein, Transylvania, Lake Erie, William Penn(Iowa), Alice Lloyd

Parking/Location: Parking will be available in the Kettering parking lot (directly across the street from the football stadium). Charter buses should park on the street in front of Hermann Court. The starting line is south of the soccer field which is directly behind Hermann Court.

Facilities: Restroom/shower facilities are located in Hermann Court, north of the start/finish area; enter on side of building near the track.
